Sheena Freeman and Carol Layton visiting in Boston 9/28/07

Much conversation centered on the enormous impact the work you do has on the ladies in Harare, Zimbabwe... what a wonderful visit we had... Sheena and I fell right into a comfortable rapport with each other.... just like long-time friends. She really is an amazing lady. She was overwhelmed (with tears in her eyes) at JoAnn's thoughtful gift sent via me and loved reading the long message Kimberlee sent to me to deliver. She was also delighted to receive Joyce Morrissey's greeting. I am left with a wonderful memory of a visit with a dear friend.

I specifically asked Sheena about the impact of the material you send and she made it clear that the impact is so large, it cannot be measured.  Things are so bad there and to know that there are people a world away who care enough to do all you do is a tremendous boost to them.  The Isle City members need to know that what they are doing is truly appreciated and does make a difference.
