INTERNATIONAL WORKING WOMAN HONORED

BPW's International (IFBPW) Business Women's Week is held the third week in February. Local organizations from over 90 countries celebrate their unity and common purpose.

Local organizations throughout the world invite the public to their International Programs, which often feature a candlelighting ceremony expressing the unity of women around the world.

Since 1930, IFBPW members have been educating and involving working women in issues related to the workplace and to their economic security as workers. Promoting its objectives without distinction to race, language or religion, IFBPW has the goal of promoting equality, full participation, and economic self-sufficiency for working women at all levels of society.

IFBPW is recognized by the United Nations as an International Observer with Consultative Status. IFBPW representatives attend meetings and make written and oral statements expressing the views of the working women worldwide.
