JoAnn-
Glad to send photos, we have literally hundreds more from the camp. I will make JoAnn L. a CD and send it to her via snail mail.
Peace Corps Volunteers have been running camps with a similar format for almost 10 years now in Kazakhstan, and every year it seems to get better.
The camp that JoAnn and I participated in this summer was truly amazing. We always count on and really appreciate help from the states. It not only helps us with things we can't take care of over here, but it is really motivating to hear that people at home are willing to help us with our small projects.
Thank you for the help that you Susan and Gary Adams provided us.
Sincerely,
Andy Holmes

ISLE CITY BPW:

THE MARSHMELLOWS AT CAMP WERE CONSUMED. ONE OF THE GIRLS ASKED IF SHE COULD EAT THEM RAW!  YES, AND MORE WERE EATEN.

WE WILL HAVE A VIDEO DISK OF PHOTOS BECAUSE ALL THE PEACE CORPS VOLUNTEERS HAVE DIGITAL CAMERAS. I AM THE OBSOLETE PERSON IN THE GROUP.

WE WILL BE BACK ABOUT AUGUST 1. WE ARE ON OUR WAY TO ITALY AND RUSSIA FOR A LITTLE SIGHT SEEING. WE'LL RETURN TIRED-- HAPPY--AND MUCH LIGHTER BECAUSE WE WILL HAVE MUCH LESS MONEY TO CARRY.  JoANNNNNN

ISLE CITY BPW,

THANK YOU FOR THE CASE OF MARSHMELLOWS. THEY ARE GREAT.

THE BOX CAME TO ALMATY WHERE I PICKED IT UP LAST WEEK. NOW, I AM IN MAIKAIN AND WE ARE PREPING FOR THE CAMP. I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW WONDERFUL IT WILL BE TOASTING MARSHMELLOWS FOR SOME MORES AT THE KAZAKHSTAN "ENGLISH CAMP FAR AWAY PLACES".

THANK YOU-THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL AMERICAN EXPERIENCE IN CENTRAL ASIA.

JoANNNNNNNNNNNNNN

JoAnn...FYI. Friends (Susan and Gary Adams) of our member, JuelleAnn, bought and shipped the marshmallows at their own expense. Our President is sending them a thank you letter. We hope they can meet you when you come to speak to Isle City later this year.
